New General Manager for Pharma Industry Finland PIF

 

Jussi Merikallio is the new General Manager of Pharma Industry Finland. The former Director of Social Welfare and Healthcare of the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities started to work in his new position on 15 August 2011.
PIF’s previous General Manager Suvi-Anne Siimes became the Managing Director of the Finnish Pension Alliance TELA.

Reform of medicines reimbursement system: how to implement savings that affect almost everybody?     

 
The Government programme for the years 2011—2015 includes several points related to the pharmaceutical setcor.

They can be grouped as follows:

• reform of the medicines reimbursement system and savings measures;
• implementation of the Medicines Policy 2020 programme;
• objectives related to business and innovation policy.
