Pharma industry's investments in Finland clearly increased in 2023

Key figures:

• Pharma industry’s investments to Finland grew in 2023 by 21 % and were in total 464 million euros.
• These investments were split in two, as production investments grew by 98 % and were even with the research and development investments.
• Regarding the next two years, the estimated number of new investments is 206 million euros. Last year this figure was 151 million euros.
• Overall, the significant increase in the total investments is excellent news, but at the same time, decision-makers now need to focus on ensuring that we can actually secure these projected investments.

These numbers speak for themselves. We are a growth industry and core player in Finnish innovation field.
